A LIGHTER SYNCHRONISM: This past June 15th, at about 8:27pm, I was rewriting a letter for my mother and I thought the word "SUBPOENA" was misspelled. (My mother is an excellent speller but she said the word was spelled "SUPOENA"...I said, I think you are mistaken, because it starts with "S~U~B")....JUST THEN (LIKE ON CUE) I HEARD FROM THE TV THE LETTERS SPOKEN: "S~U~B" and I said to my Mom: DID YOU HEAR THAT? She said she did, but still insisted that she was right....I went to the dictionary & of course, you know what I found!!! (Incidentally, this was not the first time that the TV had intervened between my mother & I; cf. "MONEY SYNCHS" that had to do with the phrase: IT'S NOT ABOUT MONEY!")

A BLOSSOM FALLS: (JUNE 25TH, 2001): While my friend Nancy sent me the following quote by Anais Nin via email:
"AND THEN THE DAY CAME WHEN THE RISK TO REMAIN TIGHT IN A BUD WAS MORE PAINFUL THAN THE RISK IT TOOK TO BLOSSOM."...
I was in the process of responding via the same email that I was so taken with this bud/BLOSSOM quote that I was going to put it up on my "PRIME QUOTES" which I did ~ on the front top right HOME PAGE in yellow....
AT THAT EXACT SECOND ~ WHILE WRITING THE RESPONSE EMAIL ~ Nat King Cole was singing the words "A BLOSSOM FALLS..." on my computer CD....I especially liked this synch, because it was the second time the Mr. Cole """chimed in""" while I was concerning myself with buds & blossoms. [[Same song~different occasion!]

Soon afterwood, on a rainy morning, a battered volkswagen microbus pulled up in front of his office. A woman in her early 20's asked about his institute: after talking with Mr. Mitchell a few hours, she asked if he would sign his autograph upon the photograph of her son. As he did so, she wrote him a check, thanked him and rode away in her microbus....The check was for $25,000.
Some months later he found out that she was an heiress who wanted to give money to worthy causes. (He candidly related that such synchronicities allowed him to "keep going.")

In early 1993, I desperately needed about $25,000 to solve a major group of problems. I sent an SOS out to the UNIVERSAL MIND to help me-fast! SIX LOVE SYNCHS OVER THE YEARS:
#1~"THE BABE": I had decided on Valentines day to give my father-in-law a special present: he always told me stories about the old Brooklyn Dodgers of the 40s & early fifties, especially about Billy Cox and what a great 3rd baseman he was as he fielded the position with a very small glove. So I decided to make him a video tape of "THE BOYS OF SUMMER" which was about the Brooklyn Dodgers of the fifties that was crowned by their championship in 1955. As I was making the tape, I got a thought to add an excellent biography of BABE RUTH. As I got up to get the biography to add to THE BOYS OF SUMMER tape, I see a picture of BABE RUTH staring straight at me from the tv screen~~~~~[[Everybody knows how THE BABE was not exactly treated with love as a boy~even loved-starved~~~so I got this eerie thought that here was a synch from the spirit of THE BABE that he "approved" of this loving gesture from a son-in-law to a father-in-law...There is nothing else I can say other than JIM really liked the tape...and now, that he has passed on, maybe is discussing this very thing with THE BABE ~not to mention the halcyon days of the 20s & 30s....]]
#2~On September 26th, 1996, I was still in Ohio, writing my MANUSCRIPT which I later named "THE BUD & THE BLOSSOM" (cf. "A BLOSSOM BE" on this site.) I was on page 18 of my final draft when I wrote the word, "LOVER" as in MY LOVER ANASTASIA...At that exact second, I heard Loreena McKinnett saying the word "lover" on a tape I was playing at the time...leaving me with the impression that ANA was with me now and punctuating the feeling I had for her~~was the same feeling SHE HAD FOR ME....
#3~ANA STRIKES AGAIN: It is now November 21, 1996. I am reading the same page 18 of the final draft, and as I read the words, "MY LOVER ANASTASIA" - I hear the words, "MY LOVE" ~ this time on a tape called "FANIGAN'S ISLE"!!! [[The only thing I could think of was: ANA MEANS WHAT SHE SAYS AND SAYS WHAT SHE MEANS!]]
#4~ANA STRIKES YET AGAIN: It is now April 30th, 1999, and while I was listening to Brook Benton's song, "A RAINY NIGHT IN GEORGIA", I heard the words, "I'll hold your picture to my chest..." WHAT TRULY AMAZED ME was that at that exact moment, I was holding a colored picture of ANASTASIA (drawn by a woman named Mary) TO MY VERY CHEST, looking at her with deep affection. >>SO WHY DID I HAVE THE PICTURE ON MY CHEST?<<
I had just finished a four-part tv interview via Janet Russell's "BEYOND THE UNEXPLAINED" and had a delightful conversation with Betty Andreasson Luca who really liked my published poem: "ANASTASIA: My Little Poltergeist"...SO I was going to copy her a picture of my picture of ANASTASIA to go with the poem, which I did, especially after this "love-synch" just transpired.....
#5~ I was rewriting a poem, "A FLY IN ME EYE' (cf. unpublished poems) when on Feb. 2nd, 2000 at 8pm, as I wrote the word "HEART" on line 13, Ricky Nelson was singing the word "HEART" on the song, "LONESOME TOWN". Then incredibly, I decided to change the word "and" to "unTIL" (line 24) and as I penned the replacement word, THE BROTHERS FOUR were singing the word "'till" on the very popular song, "GRENNFIELDS'.
[[The only deduction I could make from this double-synch WAS THAT our hearts will not change ~ UNTIL we learn to have respect & love for all of life!!! which is, in effect, the theme of this very poem....]]
#6~ [This is among the greatest synchs I ever had.] It is now March 13th, 2000, and I am writing a letter to Eve Lorgen about the possibility of publishing my short story on TRUE LOVE! (which later became "ANA & ME" on my web site). It was 6:05pm as I penned the words "TRUE LOVE" in the letter; just then, I was listening to Barbara Streisand singing the words, "true love conquers" on her song, "I'LL TAKE MANHATTAN". [AND WHY WAS THIS THE GREATEST SYNCH I EVER HAD???]
BECAUSE THE VERY THEME OF THE STORY BETWEEN ANA & ME WAS PUNCTUATED IN THE LAST PARAGRAPH OF THE STORY: THAT TRUE LOVE CONQUERS ~ NOT EVEN BEING SEPARATED FROM ONE VIBRATION TO ANOTHER!!!...NOT NO HOW...NOT NO WAY!!!

BELOW ARE SOME OF THE "CUTE" SYNCHS THAT HAVE HAPPENED TO ME IN THE PAST FEW YEARS....
#1)On March 29th, 1995, I was watching James LeFante (alleged alien abductee) being interviewed by Debbie Gellis who at that time was doing UFO interviews on PUBLIC ACCESS TV in Queens,New YorK. [[I had previously interviewed James myself on another tv program shortly before that.]]
As I listened to the conversation, my attention drifted to a tiny rubber doll I had suspended from the ceiling....As I looked at this suspended doll, James said to Debbie:
"""BEINGS WHO GLIDE & FLOAT..." [[In preparing for my own interview with James, I had discussed alien abduction encounters for four full hours ~ NOT THREE FEET BELOW THAT SAME RED-HAIRED DOLL!!!]]
#2) Shortly after I did interview James, (it is now April 2nd, 1995), I had been watching a tape called: THE HISTORY OF ROCK & ROLL. Just then, I was reaching for another of my numbered video tapes (#54) when I saw the word "COMMEDIAN" on the tape...Just then I heard the word "COMMEDIAN" on the rock & roll tape....
[[When I logged this "synch event" into my "X-FILES" I noted that it was my conscious decision to interject "humor" as I went about my "avocation" of interviewing alleged alian abductees ~ not because I was making "light" of this serious situation; ON THE CONTRARY ~ to put the alien abductee (like James) at ease, so they could tell their stories without feeling that they were being attacked by the naive or debunking mentality of CONVENTIONAL REALITY....God knows, there had been enough of that already heretofore!!! INCIDENTALLY, Debbie & her husband Barry also took the same serious approach I did about this SERIOUS PHENOMENON,while making their guests feel as comfortable as possible.]]
#3) It is now September 21st, 1996. I am in Ohio watching, "DARK SKIES" (the then new ufo conspiratorial show)...I am holding a small kitten on my lap when I tell the kitten to "TAKE A WALK" and put it on the floor....Just then, I heard the person playing President Kennedy say: TAKE A WALK!
I could not believe the synchronism!!! [[REFLECTION OF THIS SYNCH]]: In light of the recent "Zapruder film" showing the FULL version of who killed Kennedy INSIDE THE CAR (cf. web page: "ENEMY???") I wonder if "TAKE A WALK" takes on an ominious meaning for our nation in 1963 AND EVEN UP TO THE PRESENT?!? As far as "DARK SKIES" went, I do not think anybody cried too too hard when it "TOOK A WALK!" :( BUT LET'S SWITCH FROM GRAVE HUMOR TO....

#4)While I am reading this recommended book, "DIAGNOSIS" by Alan Lightman, one of my teeth start to bother me so I start to pull on it to ease the discomfort....Just then, I start reading in the book about this new character: MR. JASON TOOTHAKER....Naturally, this man never appears again in the book....HAHAHAHA-GO FIGURE!!! :)(The date was January 19th, 2001. TOOTHACKER struck at7:23pm....:(
AND LASTLY ~ #5)I had just emailed my friend - EVE- and ended the email with the words, "FAIRTHEEWELL"...Then I got up and heard on the TV the words, "fairVERYwell" !?!
It was April 11th, 2001, and I had -NOW-reason to believe that her upcoming trip would be safe & successful....IT WAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) [[I will add to this section FROM TIME TO TIME since something tells me that THE UNIVERSE has no end to its
BAG OF FUNNYSTUFF to amuse us on our sojourn through the 3rd dimensional reality. HAVE A NICE DAY. ;) ]]

After just sending some friends an email regarding a spiritual video tape where the speaker mentioned the name Frank Lloyd Wright within the contents of the talk, I saw the following quote by Wright in the EASTER SUNDAY local papers:
